Research Interests

My research interests in the STEMD lab center on studying the effects of PAR1 gene overexpression on early development, using human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) as cellular models.

Swanson School of Engineering Fall 2023 Design Expo 2023

Awarded First Place in the Bioengineering department for our team's Senior Design project, titled "Foley Bag Support Box: Accurate Volumetric and Color-based Measurements." 

National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity (Ibdaa) 2019

Participated in an annual scientific competition that drew 5,813 participants across 21 diverse scientific fields. 

Achieved 3rd place with my scientific project, "Visual Monitoring of Neural Activity in Hydra.”

The Society For In Vitro Biology 2019

Received a special award during the Ibdaa competition for outstanding achievement and creativity in In Vitro Biology for my project
