I completed my BS in Clinical Laboratory Sciences at King Saud University in 2020, Riyadh, KSA. Followed by taking a one-year Clinical Internship at the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs in 2021. I Had a short working experience in Preimplantation Genetics Diagnosis Lab (PGD) at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center (KFSH&RC), working in PGD enhanced my experience in carrying out major molecular laboratory techniques to diagnose embryos before implantation of In Vitro Fertilization cycle.
My passion is derived from helping patients to reach better clinical outcomes, being trained in one of the few labs in the world that works on establishing iPSC- patient-specific models of diseases meets my interest in understanding the development of pathological features and thus reaching a personalized medicine approach.
I started my lab rotation in the STEMD laboratory at KAUST in September 2022. For 2 months I'll be trained on the basics techniques of Stem Cell culturing as well as partially helping in the Klinefelter syndrome (KS) project escape gene expression study.
