Biography

I am a Biological Pharmaceutical Chemistry undergraduate at the University of Guanajuato, Mexico. I have developed skills in molecular biology techniques using mammalian cells, protozoa, fungi, and bacteria as biological models, also in bioinformatic analysis, cell culture, gene editing and biochemical techniques. As a visiting student in the STEMD Lab at KAUST, I´ll be working in stem cell culturing and involved in the PAR1 over-expression project to study the molecular dysregulations associated with the Klinefelter syndrome (KS).

Research Interests

I am interested in research related with molecular genetics, gene editing, cell culture and biochemistry, which can help to solve biomedical problems that affect human beings.
