ERV Gene Expression Analysis in Early Developmental Stages Using scRNA-seq October 2024 - present
• Use Scanpy to analyze the expression patterns of endogenous retroviral (ERV) genes in scRNA-seq data from
embryoid bodies (EBs), gastrulation and gastruloid models.
• Investigate whether these genes exhibit lineage-specific expression and their potential role in regulating
developmental processes like cardiomyocyte differentiation.

ChIP-seq Analysis of TF Binding Specificity September 2023 - June 2024
• Select highly expressed but underexplored TFs with other desired characteristics from a wide range of database.
• Using tools such as Bowtie, MACS2, HOMER, and ChIPseeker for data upstream processing, genomic
visualization and functional enrichment analysis.

Human Genome Next-generation Sequencing and Analysis project June 2023
• Extracted DNA from saliva using magnetic beads and performed next-generation sequencing.
• Applied bioinformatics tools such as BWA, SAMtools, and BCFTools for sequence alignment and analysis.
Conducted PCA dimensionality reduction using Python to analyze SNP differences across populations in the
1000 Genomes Project.

• Utilized PostgreSQL and SQL to manage large datasets by designing pratical relational database, and load raw
data in efficient way by JDBC.
• Developed and implemented a backend library with a set of APIs to interact with the database system, ensuring
efficient data manipulation and retrieval.
